ASLAN is a collaborative project that explores how research, design and creative problem-solving can be used to respond to a real-world challenge. The project began with an investigation into the wider context, intended users and key areas of opportunity, helping to establish a clear direction for development.
Through an iterative process of idea generation, testing and refinement, early concepts were transformed into a considered final outcome. Each design decision was guided by the project’s core aims, balancing functionality, usability and visual communication.
The finished project demonstrates a structured approach to design, from identifying the problem and analysing research to developing and presenting an effective solution. ASLAN also highlights the value of collaboration, critical thinking and responding constructively to feedback throughout the design process.
