2026
Intern
This year we have Oshadee Jayamanne joining as an intern with us, a PhD researcher at the University of Nottingham. As part of her placement, Oshadee supports the team in assessing the performance of GVL’s positioning devices, helping to understand how they operate in different real-world conditions.
Her role includes reviewing and analysing collected data using a variety of software tools, as well as exploring how performance can vary over different time periods. Through this work, she contributes to improving how the devices are used in practice and helps inform future development and optimisation.

2025
Interns
This summer, our interns Daniel and Isioma are collaborating with us to develop a client-facing dashboard for InSAR monitoring on our CORE project.
Daniel is helping build the interactive Power BI interface, creating the map and time-series chart components. Isioma is conducting data analysis and processing, using Python and QGIS to analyse trends and prepare the data.
Together, they are helping us transform complex satellite data into an intuitive tool for proactive monitoring.
